Title: All the Way Home I'll Be Warm
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Summary: After a hunt, and after warming up the old fashioned way, Dean is totally keeping watch right now, not falling asleep. Being stranded in a snowstorm in the middle of nowhere might be a bigger issue if Sam didn't run so hot.

My ramblings: Ahhhh, keep_waking_up, you deserve so much better than me. /o\ I can't apologize enough for how late this is! I mainly went with your prompt, "The backseat of a car," but I squeezed bits & pieces of other prompts in there as best I could. I hope you like it, and that your holidays are as wonderful as can be.

A million thank youuuus to the mods for the extension and patience. Also to amberdreams and lady_simoriah for the brainstorming help. The end result strayed pretty far from what we talked about but it was you two wonderful ladies who kickstarted my brain into storming all over the map when I was unsure of myself. Oh this is so beautiful! Apart from the colouring, which I love - the glow is wonderful - the details are the killer. Dean's scuffed knuckles! Bitten and bruised! Dean barely able to keep his eyes open... It's fab!

And I can't remember what on earth we brain stormed but I'm sure this is way better!

First off: I APOLOGIZE FOR THE LATE RESPONSE!!! Life has been crazy, and I've only really had the time to sit down and admire this today.

Secondly: Omg, I totally do not deserve you at all! This is breathtaking and has so many of my favorite elements. Bruised boys! Impala cuddles! Protective Dean! Powers Sam!

The details on this are stunning as well. The snowy background is just the loveliest and I adore the way the frost is creeping over the Impala's windows--which only highlights just HOW hot Sam is running! :D

And, of course, you PERFECTLY captured the boys. Sam's cheekbones are KILLER and I'm bizarrely in love with Dean's hands??? Idk how you did it, but something about them just makes me want to stare forever. (I have weird obsessions, clearly.)

GOSH, L, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS PIECE IS TO ME. From the bite marks all over ad the attention to all their bruises--I mean, I'm sorry? they got so banged up??? BUT HOW HOT IS THE PURPLING ON DEAN'S TUM TUM??? God, and then Sam's power, how soft and tender he looks that he is able to do this for Dean. I want to know more about it!!! I think my favorite thing is what a calm, happy moment this appears to be, and the contrast of that to what obviously must have come before. It's like the best kind of happiness we can hope for for these poor boys and all the more heartwarming because of that honesty. You did such an incredible job setting the scene and telling a layered story in just one image. I think I could stare at it for hours and only get more out of it. Gorgeous work, not that all of your art is not gorgeous, but this is something else. <3
