My ramblings: So, in the claims process, I got as far as Spike/Alec and nearly keysmashed all over the place. Luckily I got the fic, which is fantastic, but denyce was even better. I know what you're thinking: BETTER THAN ALEC/SPIKE?! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? But it's all true, I swear. I couldn't have asked for a more patient person to hold my hand while I fumbled my way back to my drawing roots after a million years of not picking up a pencil. The fic didn't lack for inspiration, of course; I got a little spastic about drawing this, that, and the other thing before I could even finish the first thing. The fun was out of control. ♥

494 didn’t have time to ponder its oddness as the figure abruptly stood snarling, baring its teeth. Blood yellow eyes immediately zeroed in on him as it stared—hungrily. Abruptly, 494 realized it knew something that he didn’t until that moment—it was starved and he was its dinner.




In the dream, after they hooked up the transfusion, they left them alone, and Ben had begged him to hang on, to be strong, that he needed him. Ben had even made him promise he wouldn’t leave him alone. 494 couldn’t understand why his clone cared or would even want to. Nevertheless Ben appeared so earnest and clasped his hand as if he understood, something that didn't seem possible to 494—not when he hated Ben, hated the weakness his twin represented.




Immediately the anomaly’s eyes followed and settled on his twin. Where Alec was uncomfortable and shied away under the anomaly’s intense gaze, his twin returned the stare—with blatant interest.

Wow. denyce couldn't stop raving about your art, and now I see why - it's incredible!

Such wonderful emotion on their faces and you've got a great gift for the anatomy - the lines of their bodies are terrific (and hands! ::flails:: I may have a thing for hands ::g::). I really love the color pallets you choose too; they're so evocative.

Eeee, thank you! I had to use a lot of reference pictures, to be honest. Some of them are pretty recognizable, but I was SO NERVOUS trying to find my groove again. I hope to get more comfortable with practice. Thank you so much for the feedback! :D

Haha! I didn't say I suck at drawing, really. I just suck at having patience, and oh god, you don't even know. There were so many scrapped pages and abused erasers around here. Thank you! Your art is AWESOME so your feedback means a lot. ♥

Details I don't think I commented on. The eyes have it all: intensity, emotion, and depth. You added layers that all I can do is stare—just so riveting. I love all of them, but Xander the duality of colors in his eyes *bounces* such an excellent representation of his dual personality *g* Also Xander's shirt, OMG so much detail, exquisite!

Hands, I'm so happy that you added this. IMO your art brings it to another level and punched me in the gut. *whimpers*

The dividers = awesome, I squee’d bb.
